Welcome to “The Interim Blogtastic”, also known as “Food Interim Blogerella”, and then the eternally catchy “Around the World of Interim Food Recruitment in 80 Blogs (Give or Take)”.

“About”, all on its own, simply doesn’t make sense. I’m a nice enough guy, though, so I’m going to do you a favour and contextualise it all. Huzzah!

“About” Quantica.

Well, if you’re here you probably already know, but if not – Food and Drink FMCG sector recruiters. Been working in the field for over 20 years. Specialists in Search and Selection, working generally between £35k and £150k, with everyone from Premier Foods to Pepsico to Cadburys.

“About” Quantica Interim.

And now, as they say, for something completely different. Seperate from Quantica S&S insofar as we work only in interim and S&S work only in permanent recruitment. We don’t do pro rata. We do day rates. We know what we’re talking about, because we know who we should be talking to. So we talk to them. And listen to them. And then listen some more.

We are similar as Quantica S&S insofar as, should any of us get sacked, the P45 comes from the same address.

So, not completely different then.

“About” This Blog.

As you will know if you have read any of the articles, the purpose of this blog is simple.

That is to provide the most serious, dry, dour and outright boring discussion of the food industry, the interims that work there, and the processes that we go through together, as is humanly possible. Any sniff of humour will be quickly and mercilessly extinguished. Any hint of passion will be erased with but a second thought. And, any deviation from this course will mean that in writing this blog, we have failed – completely, utterly, and abjectly.

On that positive note – on to the blog!
